Toyota Repair: 1991 toyota 4x4 Idle problem, vacuum hoses, toyota 4x4

Question
The engine ldles fine cold as soon as
it warms up then the idle drops to around 500 or stalls. A while back I had to turn the flat blade
screw back because of a high idle problem. It was unscrewing itself.(throttle body).
the engine runs fine under load.
Compression tested
179 178 165 175
there are no codes from the ecu.
140,000 miles  

Answer
Make sure the timing is set correctly and that there are no intake air leaks between the trhrottle body and the air filter, also check for any disconnected vacuum hoses and check the EGR valve to make sure it's not staying on at idle or is sticking partially open.
