Toyota Repair: Front turn signal lamp replacement, headlight lens, signal lamp

I have a 1998 Camry.  How do I get access to the left front turn signal lamp?  I see a strange fastener with the hood open that looks like it retains the headlight lens.  Do I need  a special tool to remove the fastener or is there some other way to gain access to the lamp?

The fastener is removed by prying up on the center und pulling it out, the lens can then be pushed foreward from the top with a long screwdriver, look into the opening and you will see a plastic clip, pry foreward just behind the plastic clip, do not pry on the lens.
