RV Repair: Monitor Panel, level circuits, level sensors

Question
Hi - I was hoping you could resolve a monitor panel problem.  It would seem that there is no power going to the unit itself, however when you flick the switch for the water pump it does work.  It is the light indicators for the levels (propane, battery, tanks, etc) that do not operate.  Now we hooked up to 15 amp service in our driveway (as we just purchased the motorhome) to test everything out.  There is no water, sewage, currently in the trailer - would this have anything to do with it?  Your help on this is appreciated!

Answer
Hi Heather:
There are four level sensors in most tanks and they indicate  empty, 1/4 full, 1/2 full and 3/4 full. I suppose that all empty sensors could be bad to give you no lights. Try filling up the fresh water tank to see if it works. I think there is a small fuse, 3 amps or so, in the panel that could be bad. While you are in there check to make sure you have power to the level circuits and not just the pump. The last thing might be that a plug is lose or the bundle of wires going to the panel from the sensors is cut. Good luck.
