Toyota Repair: 1985 Toyota Supra Hard To Start Whin Hot, combustion chamber, valve job

Question
I have a 1985 toyota supra and it hard to start whin it is at runing temp! I have replaced the {cold start valve,thermo-time switch, air filter, plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor button, fuel filter} I don't no what eles to do?

Answer
The problem could be too much carbon builtup on the back of the valves, this creates what is known as a hot soak condition, what happens is that the carbon on the back of the valves absorbs much of the fuel until it becomes saturated and then fuel can enter the combustion chamber and the engine will start.
There is a way to look at the valves without removing the cylinder head, it requires a borescope, some dealers or repair shops may have this tool, contact the toyota dealer and see if they can inspect the valves for this condition, the other but much more expensive way is to remove the cylinder head.
If there is excessive carbon the head will have to be removed and a valve job is necessary, this will remove all of the deposits and the valves and seats are resurfaced.
