Toyota Repair: No power to fuel pump relay, toyota supra, foot wells

Question
Hello Ted. I have a 1990 3.0 toyota supra manual with a 130.000 miles on it. It appers i have no power to the fuel pump relay and the only way i can
get it to start is by taking a live wire from the battery to the relay which then lets the pump work.
I have checked every fuse under the bonet and in both foot wells but still can't find anything out of the ordinary. What else would you advise checking? I don't have a workshop manual. Thank you.

Answer
There is a circuit opening relay that could be the cause it is located under the right kick panel, this relay supplies 12 volts to the fuel pump relay and if it is the problem there will not be any voltage to the fuel pump relay to turn the fuel pump on. Try replacing the circuit opening relay first.
