Toyota Repair: Check Engine Light Flashing, camshaft timing, timing belt replacement

Question
Ted,
I have a same problem as stated in the following question: http://experts.about.com/q/832/3425894.htm

and you had suggested that ground for the ecu or plenum chambers might be loose.  Did it fix that guy's problem?  Because My car did same thing after replacing water pump and timing belt.  It is running rough and misfiring.  I changed wires, plugs, and coils and it did not make any difference.  I had used all Toyota parts.  My car is 1999 Toyota Sienna.  (Prblem:  misfiring and running rough after timing and water pump change).  Initially, it ran fine but after couple of days, it started doing this.

Thanks,

Answer
This is an entirely different engine and it doesn't have this ground connection on the intake chamber.
If this problem started after the timing belt replacement it would make sense that the repair has something to do with it.
It would help if you could provide me with a trouble code but it's probably going to be a random multiple misfire anyway, since all those other parts were replaced already it may be possible that the camshaft timing may be off, see if the shop that replaced the belt can recheck it since they seem to have caused this problem.
Try not driving the car too uch with the light flashing and the engine misfire because it will destroy the catalityc converter.
