Toyota Repair: Vibration and lights, toyota celica, trunk lid

Question
Hi,
I own a 1991 toyota celica gt.  There is a very noticable and noisy vibration coming from the engine.  Once the car is heated up the vibration subsides a little but it's still there. I took it to a mechanic and apparently two of my cylinders were not working and he said that was the problem.  That was fixed and the car had a complete tune-up but it's still vibrating.  I was recently told it could be the transmission.

Also, today my trunk lights went on, the light telling me the trunk is open will not go off and the trunck lights are on even though the trunk is closed.  What could this be and how could I fix it?

Answer
I doubt it's the transmission, have all the motor mounts checked, there may be a collapsed or broken motor mount.
There is a switch in the trunk latch that turns the light off, try adjusting the switch, try pushing the switch manually to see if the light goes off, the switch is located on the latch in the body not on the trunk lid.
