Toyota Repair: Camry Wiring Harness, broken wires, toyota dealer

Question
The backup lights on my 93 Camry intermittently do not work. I have traced the problem to the wiring harness that runs from inside the trunk to the trunk lid where the lights are located. I believe a wire has broken in the bundle because the wires bend as the trunk is opened and closed. By twisting the harness I can get the lights to come on. Is this wiring harness replaceable?

Answer
This part of the harness is part of the harness connecting the rear of the vehicle to the front, instead of replacing the harness(very expensive) we open the insulation and locate the broken wires and repair them by either splicing in wires or soldering in wires and then insulate everything with black tape, this is a permanent fix and is a lot cheaper than replacing that harness even if you have a toyota dealer do it. If you still want to replace the wire harness call the local toyota dealer for a price quote.
