Toyota Repair: Fuel filler door, fuel filler, toyota dealer

1999 Camry LE.  Fuel filler door won't open when pulling up on lever located by driver's seat on the floor.  Is there another way to open the door?

There is a spring that opens the door when the release is pulled, this spring in the gas door is broken, to open the gas door have somone pull the release handle and pry the door open with a small screwdriver, the spring is available at the toyota dealer and is easy to replace.
