Toyota Repair: Resseting Alarm System, toyota camry 1995, toyota camry

I have a Toyota Camry 1995, 4 Cyl. I have been working on it for the last several months (changing the Head Gasket. For all this time the battery was disconnected. Now when I reconnected the battery to start the car again, the alarm goes off. How can I reset the alarm?

You didn't say whether it has toyota factory installed alarm or aftermarket and is there a remote, anyway, try this, with the battery disconnected open the driver's door and turn the ign key to the on position, reconnect the battery, if the alarm does not go off start the engine.
