Toyota Repair: 1992 Toyota Camry XLE Maintenance, toyota camry xle, cv joints

Question
I would appreciate any idea of what kind of maintenance schedule is necessary for our 1992 Toyota Camry XLE that currently has 149,000.  I will be bringing it to our local garage for an oil change this week 6/13/05 and would like to know what other maintenance services I should ask for.  Currently the brakes squeek when applied.  And there is a rythmic squeek as the tires rotate.  The AC cools fine but has a funny smell (does it have a filter that can be replaced?. The shocks seem find and everything else works just fine.

Our Toyota Camry XLE was purchased used with 126,000 miles on it and was looked over and OKed as a good buy by our local garage.
The car currently has 149,000 miles. The first year we owned it, the car was driven 60 miles per day.  This year it is generally driven 20 miles a day.
The previous owers told us that at 120,000 it got new brakes & CV joints and had a new transmission at 80,000 mi.
We have no manuals with it and since we have owned it have changed the oil&filter and air filter  every 3000-3500 miles.
We have given it:
New tires at 139,500
Battery at 140,000
P/S Hose at 144,000
Radiator at 130,000
That is all we have done.

We need an idea of what other services at 149,000 miles need to be done.

Also, how often does the:
transmission fluid need to be flushed or changed.
Spark plugs need replacing
Brake shoes or pads need replacing
Fuel Filter replaced (if it has one)
Timing Belt ( if it has one)
We've done nothing in any of the above areas.

Thanks, Joyce

Answer
The transmission fluid should be changed at 30,000 mile intervals, if the fluid looks dark and discolored have the complete fluid exchange done, after that just change it every 30K.
The spark plugs should be replaced every 60,000 miles.
Brake pads and brake shoes are a wear item and there is no recommended replacement interval, they should be checked at every oil change and maintenance and replaced as necessary.
There is a fuel filter, it is a good idea to replace it every 60,000 miles.
The timing belt should be replaced every 60,000 miles.
Have the brakes checked, the squeek may be coming from the front brake pad wear sensors because the brake pads are worn.
