Toyota Repair: Toyota Avalon 1995 Shakes, alignment problem, toyota avalon

Question
Ted:

During the last two weekends I have experienced intermittent shaking in my vehicle (it has happened twice and I have not been able to reproduce the shaking with Toyota mechanics).  After the first experience, we took the car to a Toyota dealership, but they were not able to diagnose the problem.  We purchased new tires and it happened again this weekend.  The shaking consistently occurred at 25 to 30 MPH and the entire car shakes violently.  The car shakes until we reduce the speed to below 25 MPH.  We plan to send the car back to a different Toyota dealership this week.  Please let me know if you can assist with out problem solving.

Thanks.

Answer
I don't think I can be of much help at this time, there is definetely something very wrong to get this kind of shaking in the car, if there was a suspension or alignment problem or even a tire problem the condition would be there all the time and not intermittent, go ahead and have another dealer look at it and let me know what they come up with.
