Toyota Repair: Starts then stalls 90 22re SR5, vacuum hoses, vacuum leak

Question
Ok i just drove 5 hours with my 1990 4runner sr5 22re I always follow the maintenance schedule. I go to start my truck the next day and it starts for a few seconds but stops, I can keep doing this, over and over.(then smell gas, flooding) I checked fuel its good just filled the day before. pressure is there becaused I cracked the line and it takes no time to fire up but subsequently stalls. Tried holding pedal down and it starts, revs, stalls. no backfire, or sputering, it's like it looses spark.
Please Help !!

Answer
Check the large air intake tube from the air filter to the throttle body, they can crack and develop leaks causing this kind of problem, it sounds like there is a large vacuum leak, check for any broken or cracked vacuum hoses or breather hoses, check the hoses attached to the cold idle air by-pass valve under the intake manifold toward the front.
