Toyota Repair: Toyota Previa Spark Plug Tubes, toyota previa, plug hole

I have a '92 Previa with a stripped out spark plug hole.  Is it possible to remove the spark plug tube from the cylinder head without removing the head from the block? I am hoping to be able to tap the hole with new threads but the tap tool doesn't fit inside the spark plug tube.

The tubes are not removeable, you will need to find some extension or another tool to fit inside the spark plug tube, a normal 14mm X 1.25 tap configured properly will fit in the spark plug hole and clean out the threads. You do not have to remove the head to do this.
