Toyota Repair: 92 previa AC seize up, r134a retrofit kit, particle distribution

Question
What happened: My 92 previa's compressor clutch stuck and the belt won't turn, all the switch for fan, A/C stopped working. I cut the belt to free up the accessary shaft and the van is running good but of course without A/C.
What I did before the incident: I notice the AC not cool enough, and bought a R134a retrofit kit to refill.  2000 miles later, it happened.
Did I screw up my compressor? What should I do now?
Thanks for any information.

Vincent

Answer
I'm pretty sure the a/c compressor has seized, the compressor and the clutch need to be replaced along with the receiver drier unit, if there is extensive metal particle distribution in the system from the compressor failure there may be additional parts that need to be replaced it depends on how bad the compressor disintegrated, in most cases replacing the compressor with the clutch and the drier cure the problem.
