Toyota Repair: Starting Problem, toyota cressida grande, toyota cressida

Question
" Dear Ted,

Please if you could assist provide a solution to my problem.
My car starts perfectly every morning.
I drive to work and it sits in the carpark from about 8-30am to 5-00pm.
When I go to start it in the afternoon it takes 3 or 4 seconds to turn over. It does start and runs fine but is frustrating that it takes 3 - 4
seconds to turn over.
This occurs on a daily basis and my local Toyota repairer has not been able to provide me with a solution.

I realise you are very busy but would be most grateful if you could provide a solution to my problem.

By the way I think your website is great but couldn't find a solution to my issue.

I own a Toyota Cressida Grande 1992 and had the engine rebuilt less than a year ago. Toyota have put injector fluid in but this has not helped they have also put a machine on it to clean out the injectors.

Please note the car always starts it is just the time it takes in the engine turning over before it starts that is frustrating.

Kind Regards,
Adam Ladkins."

Answer
I need to understand exactly what is happening before I can try to answer.
When you turn the key to the start position and hold it, it then takes three to four seconds for the engine to turn over or does it crank over but take this time to start up?
If you turn the key to start and there is a delay the problem may be the neutral start switch or it's electrical connection.
