Toyota Repair: 93 Camry Transmission Bump, camry xle, pedel

Question
I have a 1993 Camry XLE V6 (145K miles)that appears to be showing signs of its age.  Over the last couple of months I have noticed an occurance when driving at around the 40-45 mph range.  The car accelerates fine but when the gas pedal is released at the 40-45 mph range and coasts for a bit then the pedel is depressed slightly, the transmission bumps.  What could this be?

Also, I understand that there are approximately 3 parts that could cause another problem.  When the car is in "P" and the brake pedal is pressed to release the shifter nothing happens, in other words the shifter can not be moved unless manually released.  What is usually the cause for this?

Answer
Not sure what's going on with the transmission, could be a mount problem, could be an internal failure, need more information.
Check the all the fuses, a blown gauge fuse can cause this problem, also the shift interlock solenoid may be stuck, it's located in the shift console, this normally happens because soft drinks containing sugar get spilled into the console and the sugar will cause the plunger of the interlock solenoid to get stuck and the solenoid has to be replaced, make sure the brake lights are working, a bad stop light switch can also cause this.
