Hi its me again with another problem! my heat does not work?  I have a 93 toyota tercel, automatic, my heat doesnt work, turns on but no hot air?  I assume this is why my defoger doesnt work either?  Any suggestions?

Does the fan blow air out of the vents? If so there may be a problem with the heater valve or one of the control cables is broken, the heater valve is located under the hood on the firewall make sure the cable is attached, another more serious problem may be that the heater core is clogged and if so, needs to be replaced.

Answer
The cable you need to check is under the glove box on the left side, the glove box may have to be removed to see it, the cable housing is attached to a clip on the heater duct housing the actual operating cable should move back and forth and move a lever that opens a door to direct the heat into the passenger area, move the temperature control knob on the dash and make sure it is connected and moves the lever.
