Question
Sorry to mention that I have an automatic.  I wanted to see what you thought of Amsoil Universal ATF and some basic instruction/tips for changing the tranny oil.

Question -
I have a 2002 4Runner V6 4x2 with 55k miles, and I want to change the tranny fluid.  How many quarts do I need and how do I do it?  Is it as simple as removing a bolt, draining it , and filling it?  What do you think of Amsoil synthetic tranny fluid?

Also, is it easy to change the fuel filter?
Answer -
Is it an automatic or manual transmission?
The fuel filter is located under the driver's side next to the frame and easy to get to.

Answer
There is a 14mm drain plug on the transmission pan, it takes about 2.5 quarts to fill it back up through the dipstick tube, you'll need a funnel, toyota recommends using dextron mercon III transmission fluid, I don't know anything about the amsoil atf so I can't recommend it.
