Toyota Repair: Toyota Tundra 2000 removing instrument cluster, phillips screws, tundra 2000

Question
To change the light bulb on my 2000 Tundra the dealer estimated $150 labor. Can I remove the instrument cluster myself without damaging it.  I need to replace the D shift indicator light. Any special tricks, drop the steering column etc.

Thanks

Answer
You have to remove the lower panel below the steering column, remove the phillips screws attached to the cover around the cluster, remove the ones from underneath the cover just behind the intstrument cluster then remove the screws that hold the cluster in, disconnect all the electrical connectors and the instrument panel will come out.
