Toyota Repair: corolla, distributer cap, intake leaks

Question
Hi I have a toyota corolla 86 fwd,i'm having problems with the exeleration.i'v have changed the wires, sparkplugs, air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel treatment.I did not change the distributer cap.could that be the problem. Also the the main hose that goes to the air filter is brokent badly.
i'm wondering which of the two could be causing my decrease in exeleration.

thank for your time,

Answer
i would really have to see the car in person and listen to it running and such. i really would like to help. i can only say to replace anything broken on the air hose for starters. and cap and rotor coulden't hurt either. also check all vacuum lines for cracks and such. if none of that works.. check the cat converter. also check for any intake leaks by spraying carb cleaner along the intake and other gasket matting surfaces.. good luck and let me know how u make out
