sir. I havea 1988 toyota camry with 175,000 miles and the 2.0 engine. The speedometer just stoped working. Also he light for the overdrive is going on and off. Could the speedometer cable be broken, it is hard to replace. Is there a bad groudn or bad overdrive relay? Your help would be appreciated, thankk you bob

The most likely cause is that the speedo cable is broken or the speedo in the dash has malfunctioned, the speed sensor for the computer is in the dash unit and the loss of it's input signal is making the overdrive light flash because the computer has logged a failure code.
