You're in luck, if only the mast part is broken off,remove the chrome nut on top of the antenna mount and turn the radio on, the mast will feed itself out, after that turn the radio off and wait until the motor stops, insert the new cable/mast into the opening, turn the radio on and the motor will grab the teeth on the mast and pull it in, if not, change the direction of the teeth, I think they should face to the rear.
