Toyota Repair: 92 corolla alternator, corolla dx, alternator belt

i have a 92 corolla dx and the alternator went out.  Autozone said to buy a new one i have to bring the old one in to see what kind it is.  I don't know how to remove the old one?  Is this too complicated for you to just give me directions or is it something relatively simple?  Please help.

I recommend that you have a repair shop remove and replace the alternator, it's a little difficult on a corolla to remove,the alternator belt also drives the a/c and there are adjustment bolts and pulleys to deal with,so take my advice and have someone that has the tools etc to do this.
