Porsche Repair: 911 Porsche ignition switch, steering wheel lock, switch assembly

Question
Hello, my 2002 911 ignition switch is sticking all the way on when I crank the car. I have to turn it back the the left slightly to get my A/C to function. It feels sluggish when I turn it and sometimes the key won't come out when I turn the car off. The steering wheel doesn't lock always either but if I put the key back in and take it out fast, you can sometimes hear the click of the steering wheel lock engage. This just started happening. What is wrong and how hard is this to repair? Estimated cost to repair? Thanks, David

Answer
You have a failing ignition switch. You need to replace the Ignition switch assembly with steering lock. It is a improved version of what you have.
