Tractor Repair: 1070 case lost all hyd, drive coupler, chisel plow

arnie    went down a steep hill lost steering,clutch,had to drop chisel plow to stop. checked oil has no pressure dead in the water

Answer
  The drive coupler for the hydraulic pump may have failed or slid off the shaft.  The hydraulic pump is easy to remove from the rear of the tractor.  Just disconnect the hydraulic lines and unbolt the pump and pull it out.  If the coupler is OK, then check the pump and also make sure the pump drive shaft is turning when the engine turns over.
