QuestionJust bought 1996 Ford 4630, it start and drive but but the engine shut off by key, I have to shut it off manually by twisting little level on the side ofthe engine. Is it someting major that I have to worry about? how much it may cost me to fix it?

this shouldnt be a big problem have you checked all the fuses
There is a small solenoid on the enjector pump with two wires(some only have one).
one is positive one is negative the solenoid may be faulty or the wireing
it should not cost much to fix but the solenoid may cost $50
i suspect the solenoid is stuck open or else someone has wired it direct to the
battery.try this with the engine running remove the wire off the solenoid the engine should stop
if it does stop the problem is wireing if it doesnt stop the solenoid is at fault
