Tractor Repair: Cub Cadet, cub cadet, insight

I have a new cub cadet tractor, I was mowing and it stopped and will not go forward or backward, wht could be wrong?

Toni if it is new I really suggest you talk to the dealer you bought it from and not knowing what model it is also does not help me to fix your problems.
As some are belt drive others are gear drive if it is hydrostatic you could have the trans lock on not allowing the lever to forward or back.
If all else fails read the owners manual it may give you a insight in the workings of the machine.
