Tractor Repair: Kubota BX2200 diesel engine problems, flat beer, unburned fuel

Question
I have a Kubota BX2200 garden tractor with the 23HP diesel engine. Only 300 hours on it. I started it up fine but shortly after it began missing on one cylinder and emitting smoke from unburned fuel I expect. It ran OK with no load but when I increased the engine speed it began missing more until finally it quit altogether. Trying to start it, smoke from unburned fuel coming out exhaust. Will not fire at all.
thanks, Paul

Answer
Paul has the tractor been sitting for a long time as the fuel can go off causing some problems the same as you say you are having.
Drain the fuel change the filter bleed the system fully and try it then.
Stail fuel is like flat beer it does not work the best.

Try the above let me know how you go with it.
