Tractor Repair: tractor repair, compact tractors, proportioning valve

Danny, I purchased a 1980's mitsubishi mt1401fd, compact tractor, the three point hitch was not working it has a lever right side which is not connected to anything, nor can I find where it went I began troubleshoooting the hydraulics, prior to getting the training manual, on numerous
peoples advice, I cleaned the filter lower crankcase, and lost and replaced 2-3 gallons of hydraulic fluid, I rebuilt the proportioning valve,as best I could and cotinue to have not even whining or any hint of operation from the pump rear, the front end loader, and pto work fine,there is fluid to the proportioning valve, but does not appear to fill the pump( noted when valve oped or cracked to fill pump or eliminate air. please help

I have not had a lot of work on the little Mitsubishi compact tractors as we do not have many here (australia) I will see what I can find out for you.
