Answer
Hi Bob
I think what you have is probably a 1967 Industrial tractor I have had several emails from people with serial numbers with an I behind the 9A in the serial number none of the books I have show an I there. I have talked to my contacts at Massey Ferguson and none of them have heard of it either. I think that who ever was stamping the serial number tags stamp a I when it was supposed to be a 1. I think your serial is supposed to be 9A10027 & that would make it a 1967 all Massey Ferguson tractors built in the USA in 1967 had that same serial from 80HP down. which make impossible to tell the model number from the serial number.
The Oil used in the Transmission / Hydraulics & Differential the MF oil is Perm-a-Tran 3 the old number was M1129A. Any good Trans/Hyd oil will work be sure it is Trans/Hyd oil and not just straight Hydraulic oil.
You have to drain it at both drain plug. The Transmission / Hydraulics & Differential are all one big reservoir & all three fill through the big plug on top of the transmission just to the left of the shift levers. They all three check at the dipstick on the right side of the rear housing. The hold 8 gal. Hope this helps if you need more help email me at  {daustin62@aol.com}  or visit my Massey Ferguson web site http://hometown.aol.com/bigdean62/index.html
