what type of oil to use.What should level be

Hi Garry,
If it is low and the shock is not working, it means it is leaking at the seals and I always filled mine up as it will push a little out from heat expansion and the shaft where the seal is will lower the level anyway.

The last time I got oil it was just Armstrong shock oil and most of the Triumph and MG parts suppliers have it the last time I looked.

Check with Engel Imports, Moss Motors, Victoria British, The Roadster Factory and British Parts North West. To name a few. They all have web sites and toll free numbers.
