Triumph Repair: TR7 fan pulley assembly, fan pulley, water pump replacement

Question
Re: Water pump replacement.  Howard thanks for answering my previous question concerning replacing water pump, But come to find out it is not the pump that is the problem. It is the fan pulley bearings or what ever it is comprised of. There is significant amount of up and down play in the pulley. I cannot find any breakdown drawings of the assembly and am therefore at a standstill as to approaching and addressing the repair or fix for this problem. Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks From Brian her Brother.

Answer
Hi Brian,
I thought I answered this once but don't see it in the list so here goes again.

The unit is not broke down into parts any more. When the TR-7 was first out in 76 I seen a kit with just the shaft and bearings but since then I have never seen it available so the last ones I seen available was the complete unit which did come with a new crushable sleeve for the fan clutch to mount on. You need to try several of the parts suppliers like Moss Motors, The Roadster Factory, victoria British and Engel Imports to name a few. They all have web sites.
