Triumph Repair: tr6 jets, stromberg carbs, bentley manuals

Question
I have rebuilt the cd175 stromberg carbs on a 72 TR6..I cannot get an adjustment satisfactory enough to open the choke fully and have tried everything..but NOW I notice my jets are at DIFFERENT recesses from the body of carb...one is further "in"  than the other. I know that they need to be recessed...and they need to be the same on both carbs. I've looked everywhere for the correct "setting" but cannot find it in Haynes or Robert Bentley manuals. Do you know what the proper recess should be ? These are pressed in, so if you know of an easy way to reset them, I'd appreciate that too.

Answer
Sorry Bill,
I have worked in several Triumph dealerships over the years and I have never heard of a recess setting for the non removable jets in Strombergs. I also have never seen those jets available from any company.
