Triumph Repair: 1964 TR4 Stromberg 175CD Carbs, float chamber, line leak

Question
I put my TR to sleep for 6 months every year.  This year when I restarted it (just turned the key and it fired up) , I found that fuel was pouring from the underside of the front carb.  It doesn't seem to be a fuel line leak. Can you tell what this might be ... and how to fix it.

Answer
Hi Wilson,
It sounds like that float is stuck or the float needle and seat has trash in it. You need to remove the carburetor and clean the float chamber out and clean or replace the float needle and seat. You should also clean the other carburetor also even if it is not flooding.
