WILL ANY OF THESE HEADERS FIT MY 1200 HERALD.

                                 THANKS

Answer
Matt,

No, the exhaust port pattern on the 1147 (Herald 1200) is different from the later 1296 (1300) or 1493 (1500) exhaust manifolds.

A Mk I/II Spitfire has the same 1147cc engine, so a manifold designed for the early Spitfire will bolt to your Herald engine.  Will it clear the frame rail?  It should.. but you might need to get creative.

Oh yes, you can also use the intake from the Spitfire Mk I/II to convert to twin 1.25" SU carbs.

Cheers,

Jim
