UK Car Repair: Rover 75 fault, oil pressure switch, fuel pump relay

Question
Hi, i recently bought a used rover 75 with a v6 engine. it was working fine until i noticed that it did not have any engine oil. i decided to put the recommended engine oil in it. unfortunately i put 5 litres of engine oil and when i trid starting it it would not start. what do i do

Answer
Hi Paul, I am stumped here. Do you have fuel pressure? Do you have a spark? I know on the early rovers the oil pressure switch was connected to the fuel pump relay and if the pressure were low or the switch were faulty, the fuel pump would not start up. If there are any developments let me know. - Paul
