UK Car Repair: Astra TD Cooling Fan relay Location, car relays, fuse box

Question
I have a 19998 Vauxhaull Astra 1.7TD. The problem I have is that the Cooling fan is permantly on, whilst the radiator sensor is plugged in. I have replaced the Sensor and it is still on. I have got a new relay for the circuit, but don't know the location of the relay in the car. So my question is do you know where the relay for the cooling fan circuit is on these cars?

I'm sorry, I do not have detailed info on your car. Relays though, are generally in accessible places and near the fuse box. By looking around you should find them.  If it is a relay problem then it will be hot to touch, BUT, the relay gets it's earth from the switch then the control module, so the relay could be activated by a fault in the module.  I would normally switch relays with a known good one in the car to determine if one is faulty. If it becomes a complicated issue you could fit a seperate manual or thermo switch.
