-----Question-----
1989 buick lesabre (4 door)
I would like to know how to remove the rear door panel so that I can lubricate the locks (electric), because they are sticking.
I have tried but have had no success and can't see how the panel would come off.
There are no screws in the arm rest and that seems to be the place that is keeping the panel from being removed.
-----Answer-----
Do you have electric or manual windows and mirrors?

Answer
First take out the screw and remove the main switch panel cover from the door, this will reveal a screw. Unplug the wires from the switches. At each end of the pull handle there is a small rectangular trim piece, slide this off to reveal 2 more screws, remove them, then unscrew the lock release button. If there is an ashtray, remove the insert and check for another screw behind it. Using a flat pry tool go round the panel and pry out the clips securing the panel to the door. Once all are loose lift the whole panel up to unclip it from the door top edge.
