UK Car Repair: Ejag Mag, severna park md, sudden demise

Question
Thanks Mr. Bradley for the follow up. I belong to the jag lovers forum, (http://www.jag-lovers.org/e-type/)where of, course many conversations take place regarding Etypes.
The subject about the Ejag mag arose in a forum discussion and many contributors responded with nostalgic references and fondness for the content the magazine. Personally, I started my subscription in early '74 until it's demise. We were all wondering happened to it, why and when it stopped publication. So, this is why I contacted you in hopes of answering these questions. I'm sure this is the reason for you sudden popularity.
Personally, I want to thank you for your contributions during your tenure and wish you well.

Kind regards,

Ken

Hi Mr. Brady,
I'm not sure you have been ask, yet, but can you reply as to when the "Ejag" magazine stopped circulation? I was a huge fan of this mag and the subject cam up in a Jag forum recently. By the way, as it turned out, I attended the "last" Ejag" car show in Newport, RI.
Thanks for any information I be able to pass along.

Hello Ken;  This is the third or fourth question about E Jag in the last month. I am probably going to have to check my stored files for details but I think the last article I wrote was in mid 1990. I will try to find out. What was the forum the discussion was on?  Regards

Answer
Thank You Ken.  I am very familiar with Jag-lovers.  Sadly I was banned from the site because I was gathering information about the faulty chain tensioners used on the early 4.0 V8 engines from owners.  I was shocked, how could a site dedicated to Jaguars possibly block someone from helping Jag Owners?  Returning to E Jag, I had spoken to Laurie Levinson about two weeks before the sudden demise and at that time she seemed to be focusing on increasing the "informational" side of the mag. I had even received my monthly cheque.  When the magazine did not appear I called her at the office a number of times -the answering service was still working-and at home, she never ever returned my calls, very strange. How is it you subscribe to this site as it is mainly concerned with European model cars?  Regards
