UK Car Repair: Nissan Sunny Tropic - 1994, local wrecking yards, speedometer cable

The speedometer is not reading and am told the speedometer cable is not working. The front left drive shaft makes a creeking noise when I turn the steer. My problem to where to get the parts to buy. Information about where to get them would be appreciated. Or if there is any solution for the speedometer without having to buy a new one would be welcomed.

You can call local wrecking yards and go to a Nissan Dealership or any one of the aftermarket parts stores. You can also type the cars make into most of the popular search engines and come up with several viable internet contacts for parts. By the by, that car should have a speed sensor and not a Speedo cable so I am slightly confused as to the nature of the diagnosis so far. This will be the second sunny I have diagnosed in a month with the same problem. Try that then if all else fails send me a reply question and well take it from their.
