i have a 1999 VW Passat with a v6 5v 2.8L non turbo engine can you tell me or show by a picture where the TPS is located ?

TPS-16v Corey,
 The TPS is the Throttle Position Sensor.  It is always located on the throttle body, where the fresh air enters the engine.  The accelerator pedal linkage is normally connected on one side and the sensor on the other.  It is has a 3 pin connector.  See picture.
