Volkswagen Repair: 1986 Jetta gli 1.8 5 speed, fuel pump relay, hall switch

no spark i have replaced hall switch ign switch coil cap roter plugs knock sensor modual ign modual after i replaced knock the car ran for about 45min then it stalled now im right back to square one but this time i have no fuel  checked fuel pump&relay they seem to be ok the book tells me i dont have a td signal from ign modual all the parts are new except the knock modual any other thing i should be looking for thanks for your time

Yes, one thing.  The "load reduction relay," is sometimes responsible for problems like this.  We sometimes refer to it as the fuel pump relay, because nothing else in the car except the ignition, and the fuel pump, and the starter motor operate when the "load reduction relay" is engaged.  Get a "Bentley's" repair manual, at your local library if need be, and look for that relay, and then find it in your car.  Replace it, and I expect you'll be driving again soon.  The other thing you didn't mention was the state of the fuel filter....might be a good idea to get one of those too.  Good luck, Dana.
