I HAVE A 1998 BEETLE AND I PLUGGED ONE OF THOSE COMPUTERS IN BECAUSE IT WAS NOT RUNNING AND THE CODE CAME UP P0102,I DONT KNOW WHAT THAT IS OR WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE WITH THAT CODE AND WHERE TO LOOK OR HOW TO FIX IT? COULD YOU HELP?THANK YOU.

Lucy, thank you for your question.  The code you are getting is: 16486 P0102 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input.  Meaning: a problem with the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF) or one of the sensors before it.  Can be a plugged air filter (doubtful but worth checking anyway).  This is something in which a repair shop (hopefully) can work with or the replacement of the parts may be a dealer item only!
