Volkswagen Repair: 1982 Rabbit pickup front suspension, turbo diesel engine, camber

I am restoring this vehicle. It has 343,000 kilometres on it with a turbo diesel engine I have installed. I am trying to find a source for complete struts assemblies as well as springs with no luck. Lots of cartridges available. Can you suggest where I go to?

Where are you located?
Check wreckers for old Rabbit or Jetta housings with the smaller camber holes up to 1984. The newer struts have bigger camber bolts, and therefore not compatible.  
If you're looking for new struts with the springs and upper mount assembled, I think you're out of luck.
