Volkswagen Repair: im trying to replace my heater..., heatercore, brake booster

im trying to replace my heater core in my 1992 1.8 jetta.  i have the dash loose but cant figure it out.  can you help?

Darren,

You've opened a can of worms that you may regret, if you've got A/C. If you check previous questions, I've gone into detail into the replacement of the heatercore.

There are two nuts on the firewall behind the engine to the left of the brake booster, that need to be removed.
Then you'll need to remove the centre console, and the ducting under the heater controls...
