How do you change the low beam bulbs in a 2002 new beetle?

Open the hood and look behind the headlight.
You should see a black plastic lever.
Move it to the other end of the slot, the headlight will slide slightly forward and unlock.
Pull out the entire assembly, unplug the bulb, remove the old bulb.

WITHOUT TOUCHING THE GLASS PART OF THE BULB!
Insert the new bulb.
Attach wiring, and slide assembly back into opening (lube the three sliders) and slide lock back to original position.
