Volvo Repair: 2002 S60 cold start electrical, message screens, computer answer

Question
QUESTION: This has happend twice.
This is in Florida.  Early morning when outside temp is at 34 degrees turns over starts but misses out then dies.  Starts then misses out then finally starts running.  Information window says check window..then check automatic transmission, then check brakes..lights blink off and on..then after 4 minutes it seems to warm up and all error codes are fine including check engine light is out.
Want to take it in to repair but..hey it won't repeat...so is the answer "new computer'????

ANSWER:    Richard, new computer, no. It's probably your battery going marginal. Have the starting and charging systems tested. Some times the battery will pass, but replace it anyway. Let me know.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION:   No..installed new battery last summer.  This turns over fine just when it starts the it misses out and stumbles several times until it gets warmed up..then it smoothes out.  But the information screen randomly scrolls thru practically every problem you can have..check brakes, check trnsmission, check engine.  Then when warm everything settles down to normal.  No message screens indicating problems.
But only happened twice..and that's when it was cold..34 degrees.

Answer
All right, if you want to argue with me figure it out yourself. VBG

Seriously though,   "probably your battery going marginal. Have the starting and charging systems tested. Some times the battery will pass, but replace it anyway."

I would like to see what the voltage is on cranking and start up. A proper starting and charging systems test will give you that information. Anytime that vehicle drops below 9-10 volts, the monitor goes haywire. But what do I know??? Even new batteries are bad out of the box.
