Volvo Repair: 2001 V70 T5 Concerns, v70 t5, wheel arch

Question
Hello,

We recently purchased a 2001 V70 T5.  There are a few concerns I have.  We are Americans living in Korea, so I want to get some advice in English before I attempt to work with the dealership here.

1 - When should I change the timing belt and how much can I expect to pay? (55000 miles on the car now)

2 - Engine Idle sometimes fluctuates as if I were revving the engine (especially when I initially turn on A/C).  What could be causing this and how much can I expect to pay to fix it?

3 - Is it just the lag because of the turbo that causes a slight hesitation when I try to quickly accelerate or something else?  Normal acceleration is fine.

4 - When doing a U-turn (When the wheel is turned as far as it can go) I sometimes hear a vibrating/grinding sound in the wheels?  Is this normal?

5 - Turn signal is erratic: sometimes blinks really fast, sometimes really slow, sometimes normal and sometimes not at all.  Is this just a simple short or faulty wiring?

Thanks.

Answer
1 timing belt and tensioner   is due at 105000 miles  you can do tune up spark plugs air filter etc that is due at 60000 miles

2 with idle it can be a sensor going bad cant tell you like this  you have to check for fault codes but is is possible you throttle body cleaning  or replacement (replacement cost is in USA around $1500 for throttle body )

3 there is slight hesitation  when turbo is engaging so long you don't have check engine light or any warring light  don't worry

4 when turning the rubbing noise is just tires rubbing against wheel arch plastic there is no fix for that that is normal

5 turn signal flashing fast problem replace both bulbs front and rear on the side that you experience fast flashing

what do you do in Korea for living? were you from usa ?   i hope this helps you little bit
