Volvo Repair: IAC- SRS, mumbo jumbo, crash sensor

Okay first off I'm looking for the IAC valve on my 91 volvo 740. BE very specific so when i look i'll be 100% positive. Second my srs light been on since i bought the car. It's never been in a car accident is there anything i can do?

Michael, Its under the intake manifold.  Its silver and has 2 hoses coming out of it.  Im assuming you mean Idle Speed Motor.  In Volvo Land we dont use terms like IAC Valve.  Thats American car mumbo jumbo. The srs light would need to be read off and count the flashes.  From experience its most likely the crash sensor.  The do fail and its Crazy money.  About $1200 from Volvo.  Roger
